“WELCOME ABOARD NEW ISLAND X-2 MEMBERS:
Honeybee Karen Smith welcome to the Island X-2 Seabee Family
And a fond “Welcome Aboard.”
Binnacle is defined as the stand or housing for the ships compass located on the bridge. The term Binnacle List, is placed in the newsletter lieu of the word Sick List. Binnacle List originated years ago when the ship’s corpsmen used to place a list of the sick on the binnacle each morning to inform the captain about the crew’s health. After long practice, it came to be called binnacle list.
Please keep the following Island X-2 members in your prayers for improved health, age and/or transportation conditions. Please consider a most welcome phone call from you, sending cards of encouragement & get well wishes:

HUMOR: (ON THE SEABEE/HONEYBEE LIGHTER SIDE)
The Old Lady called the police complaining of an indecent exposure! When the police arrived, arrived she said; the man across the street is always walking around his house naked! The Officer takes a look and says: Madam! All I can see of him is his neck and his head! He is no exposing himself! No officer! Stand here atop the fridge and you’ll see!
A Mother asked her daughter, “Did you thank Mrs. Potter for the lovely party she gave?” “No,” the little girl replied. “The girl right in front of me thanked her and she said, “Don’t mention it, so I didn’t.”
